What is Virtual Reality?

Virtual reality is an artificial environment that is created with software and presented to the user in such a way that the user suspends belief and accepts it as a real environment. On a computer or a mobile phone, virtual reality is primarily experienced through two of the five senses which are sight and sound.


How can I buy Virtual Reality training?

We accept credit card payments and bank transfers as payment options. You can use our 3d secure payment method for your credit card payments, where your bank will be sending you a special code via text message to approve your order. Your card information is not stored by Diesel Academy.


What is the duration of the Virtual Reality courses?

- The duration of each course is depending on the brand and model of the injector you are training on. There are datasheets provided for some of the courses as theoretical learning besides the VR training. Some of these datasheets are over 100 pages and some of them are around 20 pages. The time of education period depending on how fast you can read and absorb the information given on the datasheets. This is totally up to the trainee’s learning curve.


How many times can I practice the VR course and are there any time restrictions?

Our courses are lifetime subscriptions, meaning that there is no time limitation to view the course. You can take the course as many times as you like.


Do you provide certificates for the training courses?

Yes, we do provide a Diesel Academy Certificate for each of the courses you have taken with us, whether it is virtual reality training or workshop/in-house training.


I have bought the Virtual Reality course, how can I use it?

Once we receive your payment, we will provide you a user-id and a password where you can access your training program.


Where can I access my training program?

When you have your user-id and your password, you can download our application from  Google Play Store if you are using an Android phone. If you are using an iPhone, we will provide you a special link where you can access your training account. After downloading our application go to the "training" tab and select "courses" under the Virtual Reality Training section. You will see the available training courses on this page, find the training course you have bought, and click on "Start the Training Course" tab.


I have a virtual reality headset, can I use it for your virtual reality courses?

There are 2 different types of VR headsets available on the market. In order to confirm that your headset is compatible with our VR courses please e-mail us the picture of your headset to [email protected]. Anyhow, we do provide you our own virtual reality headset included in the training package.


I have bought the VR training, how long would it take for me to receive your virtual reality headset?

We ship the virtual reality headset by air express, on the same day we receive your payment. We will send you a tracking number where you can see the condition of your shipment online. Most of the shipments take 3-5 business days for you to receive the headset.


How can I use the VR Headset with my mobile phone?

Once you receive your headset, open our application on your mobile phone and go to your training course as instructed above. You will see a detailed instruction with pictures about how to place your phone with the headset. Make sure you have downloaded the Youtube application as well, you will be directed to the Youtube app in order to watch the training. The Youtube video is only visible to our customers who have bought the training courses. This content is invisible and restricted to other Youtube users. Once the training is opened on Youtube select options and find "Watch in VR" as described on your course page. That is it, you are all set! If you are still having a problem opening the VR course then please contact us here, and specify the issue or problem you are facing. Our customer support will get in touch with you to fix your problem as soon as possible.


It is stated that the training video is recorded with 5K which is the best possible resolution available in the market but my video quality is not that good. Is there any way to fix that or adjust the video quality?

Of course! You are probably having a bad video quality due to your internet connection. Most smartphones adjust your video quality automatically based on your internet speed so you can watch the video without a delay. All you need to do is follow the instructions on your training course page. Go to options on Youtube and select the highest video quality which is 5K and you are good to go! Make sure to wait a couple of minutes in order video to be uploaded so you can have a flawless virtual reality experience.  If the quality of the video is still not satisfying then it is because of your mobile phone's screen resolution. Probably you are using an old phone with a low screen resolution. In order to solve this problem, you need to upgrade to a newer phone with a better screen resolution.


Is my phone supporting Virtual Reality technology?

If you are using any kind of smartphone, the answer is YES. If you don't have a smartphone, you won't be able to watch the VR training. Currently, %90 of the world is using smartphones, so we highly suggest you buy a smartphone if you already don't have one.


My Virtual Reality Headset is broken, can I buy a new one?

Of course! We are supplying these headsets for our customers only. If you let us know your user-id we can send you a new VR Headset for 30% off.


What is an In-House training?

In-house training is a term used for the training we are giving in our Istanbul workshop.


I own a workshop which provides training courses as well and we are interested in cooperating with your company about this technology, is that possible?

Yes, it is possible. We are cooperating with training course providers in 2 different ways. The first option is, we can shoot and program a virtual reality program with your company if you can provide the training course in another language than the English. For more information please contact us here. The second option is, we have customers all over the world and some of them would like to get physical training instead of virtual reality training. Yet most of our customers prefer Virtual Reality Training because it is more cost-effective because there is no flight cost or a hotel cost and VR training gives them the same experience as physical training. Still some customers prefer workshop training and we can send you over customers for getting training at your workshop if the customer is closer to your city/country comparing to us.
